A Year Ago(four days late)

It’s hard to believe that a year ago I was surrounded by pink and peach dresses, and I had the best day of my life. I can not believe that my best friend and I have been married for a year! I don’t know about all you other married couples out there, but I went through this year thinking back constantly to last year and what we were doing at the time. Last year Andy was off to basic and tech school for the air force, I took off a semester of school and planned our wedding. I certainly could not have done it without the help of my sisters and my mom. They were there when a found my  gorgeous dress and other happy times, and were also there to snap me out of bridezilla mode! Other family helped as well, and our day would not have been beautiful if it wasn’t for our families.  I know many people are probably sick and tired of hearing me go on about our wedding, but it really was the best and happiest day of my life, and I do miss it. We are still in college, and I am so anxious to be done with school, get a house, and start a family. All this will come fairly soon considering how fast the years go, but right now we are having a great time doing things together and having flexibility to travel and visit family and friends. Our first year of marriage was enjoyable, happy, and sometimes stressful but I would not have it any other way. So, Happy One Year Anniversary Andy, and get ready for many, many more to come! 🙂

Here’s to all of our friends and family who were involved in helping, planning, or just attending our wedding! We appreciate each and every one of you, and are thankful that you are in our lives!

Andy surprised me with a trip to Cape May for our Anniversary. That’s where we went last year for our honeymoon, and I was really bumming this summer because I honestly didn’t think we would be able to make it down to the shore. But, he made it happen and I can not wait to eat some awesome seafood and enjoy the sun and waves! Hope you all enjoyed the photos.
